Hành lá rửa sạch, thái nhỏ. Cà rốt gọt vỏ, rửa sạch, thái mỏng. Nấm rửa sạch, thái mỏng. Đậu Hà Lan rửa sạch, để ráo nước. Thịt gà rửa sạch, thấm khô, thái miếng vừa ăn. Lăn thịt gà qua lớp bột mì. Đun nóng chảo cùng dầu ăn và bơ, đến khi bơ tan chảy thì cho thịt gà vào chiên vàng đều hai mặt, gắp ra đĩa để ráo dầu ăn.
Dùng lại chảo, cho hành lá và cà rốt vào đảo đều. Tiếp đó cho nước dùng rau củ, rượu vang trắng, kem sữa tươi, bột ớt, 1 muỗng cà phê muối và 1/2 muỗng cà phê hạt tiêu vào đun sôi trên lửa vừa.
Sau khi sôi, đun nhỏ lửa, thêm thịt gà và đậu Hà Lan vào nấu cùng khoảng 10 phút. Tắt bếp. Trong một chiếc chảo khác, cho bơ đun tan chảy, rồi thêm nấm cùng 1 muỗng cà phê muối và 1/2 muỗng cà phê hạt tiêu vào xào đến khi nấm chín mềm. Tắt bếp.
Xới cơm ra đĩa hoặc bát, cho gà sốt kem chua và nấm lên trên rồi thưởng thức.
